Catholic rite of marriage, documents required and premarital course

The choice of celebrating their marriage as the Catholic rite was, until recently, plus a choice, an agreement to meet.
Today, following the increasing number of civil unions and cohabitation, the choice of celebrating the sacrament seems more conscious, more rational within the couple.
For the religious marriage is prudent to begin to practice, and the collection of documents required at least 6 months before the desired date. That timeframe could further stretch where the church is not the choice of parish membership of one of the two future spouses, or in cases where there are special dispensations necessary.
The course premarital

The practice of marriage starts with the choice of the parish at which you will follow the premarital course, the oath will be posted and religious publications. The parish will be to her, to him or related to the residence where the nouveau going to live sposi. Even if you marry elsewhere, is the pastor of one of these churches to do the practice.
The course of premarital preparation for the sacrament lasts about two months and consists of a dozen meetings between couples about to marry and the parish priest of choice, often with assistance of educators and other community couples already married. Today those courses tend to be technical, made of recipes or instructions for use, but focused on trying to understand the meaning of marriage, on a path to do pair and group putting questions that often do not have the time to arise, for example about the meaning of life of a new family. For many the course of preparation for marriage is an opportunity for renewal of a relationship that was interrupted after the catechism youth, perhaps for commitments to study or work: the premarital course is therefore often have to give not only the sense of marriage but the sense of the life of faith, to address an adult catechism, other than that left by children in the preparation of Communion. Many pairs, avvicinatesi initially in preparation for marriage with suspicion, sometimes only ready to pay the toll of these meetings that it was "obliged to do", in addition to many other commitments to do to prepare for marriage, were found to change attitude as a result of these interventions that can address the marriage and one person in more depth.
Oath and promise of marriage - Documents required

For the oath in front of the priest, about ninety days from the date of marriage, the future spouses will meet with the priest for marriage and the practice should have the following certificates in paper:
- Certificate of baptism to use marriage to be requested in the parish where he was baptized;
- Certificate of Confirmation to be requested in the parish where he was confirmed;
- Certificate to use contextual marriage request in the district.
Publications of marriage - Documents required

Presented these documents prospective spouses, examined separately, carry out the oath in front of the parish priest, following which the priest prepares the two religious publications (for the boyfriend of the parish and the parish's girlfriend) and gives the torque the Model ten (Model X) to make the oath and publications to the town, which provide all the formalities of the Civil Rite.
Once completed all three publications (those two Sundays after church, that the Municipality after about 30 days) the engaged deliver the three publications to the priest who will deliver them in a sealed envelope across the practice room, which will increase to Vicariate for nothing ecclesiastical prejudice if the marriage will be celebrated in a church other than that which both spouses. Al pastor of the Church chosen to be delivered all documents authenticated by the Curia, and that the couple will release the document of "religious consensus", thereby confirming the date of the wedding.
Preparation for the rite of marriage

The celebration of the marriage rite Catholic must be prepared carefully, since book from reading, playing music in church
Marriage concordatario also produces civil effects. In fact, after the religious ceremony, the officiating priest read the articles 143, 144 and 147 of the Civil Code regarding rights and obligations of married couples, the same people who are pronounced in the rite of marriage by a civil state. The marriage is then transcribed in the State Civil Registries.
From now on the family, as regards rights and duties of spouses and their relationships with their children, is controlled and regulated by the law of the Italian state, just like that of couples united in civil marriage ceremony.
The Catholic marriage is based on the indissolubility But the same: This is a sacrament based on the marriage covenant, namely the irrevocable consent by which the two spouses freely and interchangeably you give and receive. This special union of man and woman requires, and the welfare of children requires the full fidelity of the spouses as well as the indissoluble unity of the bond. Through this sacrament as spouses Catholics are committed to nurture and develop their bond of communion equality of dignity, in mutual dedication, love undivided, so associating the divine reality and human affairs between favorable or otherwise, remain faithful in body and spirit and totally exclude any adultery and divorce.
